At the last Assembly District 16 debate Steve stood up for BART riders and made it clear that he supports a ban on transit strikes.

Many differences between Steve and the other candidates were made clear at the campaign's first debate, but none more apparent than Steve's stand against BART strikes.

Both of the candidates opposing Steve at the debate said they support BART workers being able to strike again.
